The Kindergarten Orientation program is offered on Thursday, March 19, 2026. You and your child are welcome to attend the program in the school your child will attend.
Children will have the opportunity to visit a Kindergarten classroom and participate in some activities to help them feel more comfortable about attending school. Parents will attend an informative session conducted by the principal, nurse, counselor, teachers, and other staff members. The intent of the meeting is to familiarize parents with the Kindergarten registration process, how to prepare children for school, and what to expect from the public school kindergarten program.
Orientation and activities will take place from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
Children must attend the school in their attendance district or apply for placement through specialty programs.
